Overnight Hospice Patient Care - 11 PM-7 AM Part-time

Job Responsibilities

Great opportunity for retired or active RN, LPN, CNA, or equivalent personal experience - Patient Care Technicians with medication pass experience, EMT's
11 PM - 7 AM (Part-time-various shifts available)
Minimal medical care in a clean home setting. Medication administration, showering or bed bathing care, (no hoyers, no heavy lifting)
Hospice or end of life care experience preferred, but not required.
Must be able to work alone or with volunteer staff or student
Dependable character and personal qualities as verified through interviews, reference and background checks will reflect integrity, trusty worthiness, good listening skills and compassionate responses.
Physically and emotionally able to care for residents under hospice care in their final days of life while providing comfort and emotional support to the residents and family.
Understand and follow hospice medical treatment plan on administering medications.
Record ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) and MAR (Medication Administration Management) as well as Resident communications book
Attend to all the resident physical needs
Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as needed for resident

Job Qualifications

Skilled at identifying and resolving problems and streamlining workflow efficiency.
