November 4 – Comedy Improv Night at Mopco in Schenectady

Comic Relief For Health Care Workers and Caregivers –
Because They Could Use A Laugh
A Virtual Fun Filled Event – Thursday, November 4, 2021

As Executive Director representing the Gateway House of Peace, an end-of-life care home, we invite your organization to a virtual fun-filled evening of improv comedy saluting all health care workers and caregivers on Thursday evening, November 4, from 7:00-8:00 PM.

We have been fortunate to receive a gracious opportunity to offer Comic Relief For The Caregiver with Master of Ceremonies, Kat Koppet, founder-director of Mopco Improv Theater, headquarters for Koppett, a world-renowned leader in applied improv. Kat’s impressive client list includes Apple, Chanel, Kaiser-Permanente, GE, St. Peter’s Hospital, JPMorgan Chase, Eli Lilly, Facebook. Kat’s improv team will perform spontaneous live comedy based on real daily healthcare vignettes shared by the audience, reminding us that laughter is the best medicine.

After eighteen months of facing a global pandemic, caregivers of all types could use an opportunity to get distance from daily frustrations and appreciate all they have endured while keeping the public safe.

“How strange, thought Perdu, that one laugh can wipe away so much hardship and suffering. A single laugh. And the years flow together and…away.” ― Nina George, The Little Paris Bookshop

Please join us with a sponsorship contribution of $500 that will provide your employees and friends full access to the virtual evening of relaxed good-natured fun, which they can enjoy from the comfort of their homes. They can interact with the performers as well! The vignettes are guaranteed to delight as they are created on the spot and offer comic perspectives on daily challenges that could inspire your team to grin for weeks to come! Consider this the perfect opportunity to express your thanks to the people who work hard for our community.

Your organization will be recognized at the event and displayed on a virtual banner.

If you are interested in honoring your team for the tremendous efforts they offer, all the while supporting Gateway House Of Peace end-of-life care, please email or call me by October 1st. I will give you instructions about how to log on for this fantastic evening and help you get the word out to your employees.
